Hello — I'm Sang Hee Park, founder of Blossom Skin & Health and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
I hold a PhD in TCM from Liaoning University of TCM in China, where my doctoral research became the world's first empirical study applying classical Wu Yun Liu Qi 五運六氣 theory to Southern Hemisphere climate and disease data — using 156 years of Sydney weather records and 33 years of NSW epidemiological statistics. That research confirmed what classical medicine has always suggested: that the seasonal patterns of the Huang Di Nei Jing 黃帝內經 apply here in Australia, with appropriate adaptation for our inverted calendar.
For over a decade I taught acupuncture and classical TCM theory at the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I continue to research, write, and develop educational resources for practitioners and students worldwide.
In clinic, I bring that same depth of classical knowledge to every patient — combined with practical, personalised care. I work with a wide range of conditions including skin disorders, hormonal health, musculoskeletal pain, sleep, emotional wellbeing, and cosmetic concerns.
