About Sang Hee Park, PhD
I am a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and founder of Blossom Skin & Health, based in Wahroonga on Sydney's North Shore.
My journey into TCM began with a deep fascination for the classical texts — particularly the Huang Di Nei Jing Su Wen 黃帝內經素問 and the system of Wu Yun Liu Qi 五運六氣, which maps the relationship between seasonal climate, cosmic cycles, and human health.
Over more than two decades of clinical practice, I have worked with a wide range of conditions including skin disorders, hormonal health, musculoskeletal pain, sleep, emotional wellbeing, and cosmetic concerns — always guided by classical TCM theory and careful individual assessment.
Doctoral Research
I hold a PhD in TCM from Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China.
My doctoral research was the world's first empirical study applying classical Wu Yun Liu Qi theory to Southern Hemisphere climate and disease data.
Using 156 years of Sydney weather records and 33 years of NSW epidemiological statistics, the research confirmed what classical medicine has always suggested — that the seasonal patterns of the Huang Di Nei Jing apply here in Australia, with appropriate adaptation for our inverted calendar.
This work established a Southern Hemisphere framework for Wu Yun Liu Qi clinical application that is now used by practitioners worldwide.
Teaching & Education
For over a decade I taught acupuncture and classical TCM theory at the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
I continue to research, write, and develop educational resources for TCM practitioners and students worldwide — including a series of clinical e-books, a free clinical analysis app, and the 60 Jiazi Complete Analysis Series.

My approach
My approach is grounded in the principle that everything is about balance — yin and yang, heaven and earth, season and body.
In clinic, I take time to understand each person's unique constitution, history, and environment before designing a treatment plan. I draw on acupuncture, herbal medicine, dietary guidance, and classical seasonal analysis to support whole-person health.
I would love to welcome you to the clinic.
